Congratulations to Ethan for his college choice and good luck in the future!
Episcopal School of Jacksonville
Sewanee – The University of the South
Florida Lacrosse Alliance and Team Florida
Why did you choose this college?
I really like the environment and college life of the players at Sewanee. The campus is amazing and the academics are remarkable. The small class size allows for personal relationships with your professors. In addition, Sewanee has a great social scene. I am looking forward to becoming a part of their lacrosse program, and I hope to have a large impact.
What are your first memories of the sport?
My first memory is picking up my older cousins lacrosse sticks with my twin brother and trying to pass back and forth.
What part of the process was most surprising to you about the recruiting process and what would you like to pass on to those who are going to face it in the future?
I was pleasantly surprised how friendly the lacrosse coaches were when they reached out to me. It was easy talking to them. I would trust in the recruiting process because if you have the rightcoaches you are able to find the right college for you and how you play. It is a very close community.
Who would you like to thank for helping you get here?
I would like to thank my head coach, Glenn Carter, because he has helped me to become a stronger player though pushed me to be the best player that I can be. He also taught me the importance of leadership. He has guided me through the recruiting process and I am very fortunate for all that he has done for me.
