Funny How Time Flies When you're Having Fun . . .   This year in Jupiter my girlfriend and I decided to make the weekend a getaway instead of just driving back and forth.  Thursday night and Friday night at the Fairfield . . . yeah, I really splurged on that one . . . but it really turned out to be a great working weekend.  Unfortunately, Annie's has closed on Indiantown Road and that was not a good thing.  I'll miss their dinner to go for all my Jupiter home games. The Spectrum Sports broadcast crew also stayed at the Fairfield and we all gathered for a great Saturday breakfast gab fest.  Minus one young man who slept in. This weekend is both a bit exhausting and very exhilarating for me at the same time.  Friday is an all day affair, and even with the narro...

I can not believe the high school regular season is already over. And tomorrow we start District playoffs up North, down South in 32 and in some Treasure Coast locations. So much crammed into so small an amount of time.  And with missing the first two weeks, it really came down to only 6 weeks for me.     32 Districts and 128 playoff slots 195 High Schools played the season at the varsity level. 67 schools, 67 head coaches, numerous assistants and about 2,000 players have finished playing already. Figure about 20% of the kids are seniors. 400 kids have mostly finished playing their last game.  Some of those coaches are not coming back.   Thank you for your efforts . . . coaches and players alike. Not all of the schools sittin...

It's that time again!  For your intrepid reporter to act like he knows what he's talking about . . . Yes, it's time for America's Top 20!     Oops . . . wrong Top 20 . . . but Casey Kassem was really something back in the day . . . I still listen to his Top 40's on Sirius 70's on 7 on the weekend while driving!   Well, I'm kind of tired of using the same Let's Get Ready To Rumble video as the intro so let's go with something else . . .   How about a more positive thought for those teams that are looking to move up the food chain?  From the great 70's TV show Soul Train with Don Cornelious?  Rufus with Chaka Khan and Tell Me Something Good?     Kids, this stuff beats Kanye any day . . . Have to say Lady Gaga...
