As we head into the final two weekends of the regular season it looks like quite the horse race for a couple of slots.  Interestingly enough, the Launch are the most likely to be locked into their slot, assuming they take care of business in Boston on Saturday.  After last night's gutted out win by Ohio in Denver the two teams are tied for the top spot and barring any really ridiculous hiccups and permutations they will occupy the 1st and 2nd seeds and will host home playoff games in the semifinals, with the Launch likely to travel to one of them. Here are the standings as of today and the games remaining:   MLL Standings Team   W-L To Go Denver 8-4 2 Ohio 8-4 2 Florida 7-6 1 Rochester ...

With Will Gural dominating at the X, going 19 for 30, the Launch put on one of their best offensive performances of the seaso...

via the Launch web site   Author's Note:  Okay, here we are.  Tomorrow night in Boca is a MUST WIN.  Technically the Launch are still third as they hold the tiebreaker over NY and Rochester.  A good start was not followed up and the offense was shut down in the last 3 quarters.  Time for a 60-minute game.  Last night the worst combo of results for the Launch.  NY over Boston and Rochester sweeping the series from Denver, where a loss to the Outlaws would likely have meant elimination in spirit, if not technically. By the way, the picture above might be the coolest one of the season . . .    Just a few days after a victory at home, the Launch end their season series against the Chesapeake Bayhawks with an even split following an 18-10 road loss. The Launch came out o...
