The players were selected from the 110 players that participated in a three-day tryout that concluded Sunday at US Lacrosse headquarters. “Obviously it’s bittersweet because there’s so much talent at this tryout,” said Amonte Hiller, the head coach at Northwestern University, a National Lacrosse Hall of Fame inductee and a three-time U.S. World Cup team member. “It’s hard to let some of those kids go because there was such a depth of the talent pool — to have 500 kids apply and to just see how strong the drills and scrimmages and everything we did this weekend was.

Seniors Jordan Cooper and Sam Bebout along with first year Hayden Frey were named to the All-Liberty League Second Team. Cooper played in every game this season for the Dutchmen, assisting on 38 goals in his senior year alone and scoring ten goals. He led the Liberty League in assists and averaged 2.64 assists per game. He is eighth in the league for points per game with 3.36.
