  via press release Contact: David Stirt at 352-514-5643 or dmstirt@gmail.com www.floridamilk.com   GAINESVILLE (June 5) – Record-setting junior Caitlyn Wurzburger of American Heritage School of Delray has been named the 2019 Florida Dairy Farmers Miss Lacrosse. After becoming the first player in U.S. prep lacrosse history to record both 100 or more goals and assists in a season as an eighth grader in 2016, Wurzburger managed to accomplish the feat for the fourth straight year, scoring 104 goals and adding 105 assists in leading her team to the state Final Four.     Wurzburger, a three-time All-America, is the first three-time winner of the Miss Lacrosse award and has committed to play college lacrosse at the University of North Carolina.

LHP Takes the FHSAA Girls’ Title Win Over Benjamin 11-6; Will It Signal A Future Too?

photos by Ted Swoboda The story last night was two-fold.  LHP wins their first FHSAA Girls' title over Benjamin last night 11-6.  It was 10-2 at halftime and even with a small Benjamin run of 3 goals in the second half the lead was never seriously jeopardized and that wasn't a big surprise.  The Benjamin program is to be commended for their great season but most thought the other side of the bracket had the two best teams this season and that did play out in the Final Four. I'm including links to the PB Post and Sun-Sentinel articles for you to read the game recaps, I can't really add to that as far as the game was concerned.  Less than 6 minutes into the game it was 5-1 LHP and the rest of the game felt like a holding pattern.
