  via SSC press release   MELBOURNE, Fla. – For the seventh consecutive season, Sunshine State Conference coaches select the University of Tampa as the preseason favorite. With 48 points and six first-place votes in the poll, the Spartans are expected to recapture the league's regular-season championship. Saint Leo University finishes second in the poll with 40 points, while Lynn University edged Rollins College for third place, 36 to 34 points, respectively. However, the Tars received two first-place votes from conference coaches. Rounding out the preseason ranking are Florida Tech (23 points), Florida Southern College (22 points), Palm Beach Atlantic University (13 points), and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (8 points).   via MCLA press release   ATLANTA – After finishing as the runner-up in the SouthEastern Lacrosse Conference Division II tournament, Kennesaw State has been tabbed the favorite in 2020, according to the preseason coaches poll. The Owls (10-4), who made their sixth appearance at nationals last spring, are nine points clear of UNC-Charlotte (9-5) for the top spot. Kennesaw grabbed six of the 10 first-place votes while the 49ers snagged two. Wake Forest (5-4), which has qualified for the SELC tournament the last two seasons, was slotted third. Florida Gulf Coast (6-6), which had a first-place vote, was 10 points behind the Demon Deacons in fourth place.   via UF press release   GAINESVILLE, Fla. – With Florida lacrosse's 11th season on the horizon, the 2020 schedule has been announced by head coach Amanda O'Leary. The Gators have 17 regular season games scheduled during the 2020 campaign – including eight contests at Donald R. Dizney Stadium. UF has gone 90-21 (.811) at The Diz in the history of the program (spanning 10 seasons). During the 2019 season, the Gators will face 10 teams that made their way into the 2019 NCAA Tournament field: Colorado, Maryland, Loyola, Stony Brook, Dartmouth, High Point, Navy, UNC, Princeton, Jacksonville.
