(April 22, 2021) – The first ever season of competition for the Webber International University women's lacrosse team came to an end in the Mid-South Conference Quarterfinals on Thursday as the Warriors fell 26-1 against No. 2 nationally-ranked the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.).This is the first season that the MSC has split into a north and south division, with each team playing against divisional opponents twice during the regular season and then playing cross-division opponents in the postseason. (February 20, 2021) – The first ever home game for the Webber International University women's lacrosse team featured a second straight game against a top-10 nationally-ranked opponent for the Warriors. In the end, Webber scored twice for the second game in a row, but fell 25-2 to No. 9 Life University on the Warrior Turf Field.The first goal for Webber came via a free position shot by Natalie Baumgarten to make the score 16-1 with 21:22 remaining in the second half, and then a goal by Megan Dennis assisted by Baumgarten made it 20-2 with just under 10 minutes remaining.It was the first-career goal for Dennis, and was the second in two games for Baumgarten, who leads the team with three poi...
