  as per MCLA press release   ATLANTA – South Carolina put together the best season in program history last spring and now the Gamecocks are favored to win the SouthEastern Lacrosse Conference Division I title in 2019 according to the preseason coaches poll released Wednesday. South Carolina (18-2), which advanced to the semifinals of the 2018 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour, grabbing four of the 17 first-place votes.   via FLN Special Correspondent Anthony Cicio   Tallahassee, FL — Florida State locked up the #1 seed in the SELC Southeast Division this past weekend with back-to-back wins over South Florida and Florida. FSU defeated USF and UF by scores of 23-2 and 14-10, respectively. They improved their record to 10-3 on the season and finished 5-0 in divisional play. On Friday night, Florida State jumped out to a 10-0 lead after the first quarter, paced by four goals from Davis Goodman. Senior Dawson Allen added two as well.
