Maryland (3-0) sits tight in the second spot after winning an overtime thrill against #3 North Carolina (3-1) yesterday. (February 5, 2019) – With two goals under her belt and her second assist of the evening, Rollins senior middie Kallie German notched career point number 224, marking a new program record for points in a career.  The Centreville, Md. native wrapped up the night with four goals and two assists, climbing to 226 overall points in her career.  With German's help, the ninth-ranked Tars held the No. 19 University of Tampa Spartans at bay, helping Rollins earn the 21-16 victory in their season opener.   via the IWLCA press release   Le Moyne College claimed the number one spot in the IWLCA Division II Coaches Pre-Season Poll, claiming all 25 available first place votes. Le Moyne posted a 22-1 record last year as they captured the 2018 NCAA National Championship, and the first in program history. Adelphi University checks in at number two, followed closely by the 2018 NCAA Runner Up, Florida Southern, in the third position. The fourth and fifth spots in the poll are claimed by Lindenwood and West Chester. East Stroudsburg, LIU Post, Regis, Rollins, and Florida Tech round out the top ten.
