The Green and Gold jumpstarted the night with a six-goal lead from five different scorers. "I'm happy to get the first win under our belts. Incoming freshman Kaci Archer will be the first Saint Leo women's lacrosse student-athlete to benefit from the generous donation from the Burns' family. The Kelsey Burns Scholarship was created to be given to an incoming freshman who the coaching staff believes will be an impact individual in the classroom, embody Saint Leo University's Core Values, and be a leader on the lacrosse field. Dunleavy added three assists, giving her a six-point night. With the victory, the Panthers set new program standards for wins with 15 and conference wins with five. PBA was able to keep it close early as Chanel Nassir notched her 11th goal of the season three minutes in. That goal – assisted by Kate LeBlanc – kept the 'Fish within one at 2-1 but the Lions started a run of eight straight goals that put the game out of reach. Grace Bartlinski added a goal, her team leading 32nd, 5:30 before halftime but the Lions added four more to lead 14-2 at the half.
