  BOX SCORE   via FSC press release   Bursinger Eclipses 400 Career Draw Controls as Mocs Hand Lions First Loss of 2019   LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College women's lacrosse spoiled Saint Leo's bid for a perfect season as the Mocs (12-2, 4-1 SSC) held the Lions (13-1, 2-1 SSC) to a season-low six goals. Senior Dani Bursinger won a total nine draw controls for the visiting Mocs and with her sixth draw control of the game, she hit the 400 mark for her career. She is the first Moccasin to hit this milestone. A pair of Mocs recorded three goals as Aubriana Benedetto and Brenna Smith led the Florida Southern offense. Both Sarah Grady and Maliah Benedetto found the back of the net twice, while five more Mocs tallied a goal in the victory. HOW IT HA

  BOX SCORE   via Saint Leo press release   #21 Lions Roll Past Sailfish; Kaylah Walstad Becomes Program All-time Assist Leader   WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The No. 21 Saint Leo Lions rolled past the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish, 26-6, in Saturday's Sunshine State Conference game. The decision extends the program's best season start and all-time season win record to 13-0 overall, 2-0 in the SSC. Kaylah Walstad became the program's newest all-time assist leader recording four assists against the Sailfish for a career tally of 49 assists.  Meanwhile, Leslie Ferguson broke a game record with 10 points and Sabrina Sanacorereached a career milestone of 100 points. The dozen victories earned a newest all-time season win record while continuing to extend the team's best season start.   via Saint Leo press release   BOX SCORE SAINT LEO, Fla. – The No. 24 Saint Leo women's lacrosse team clinched a perfect non-conference season in the form of a 20-4 win over Montevallo Sunday afternoon at University Turf Stadium. The Lions will enter Sunshine State Conference play undefeated with an 11-0 record. After four minutes of play, Saint Leo held a 2-1 lead over Montevallo. The Lions defeated the visiting Chargers 17-6 to defend their home field at University Turf Stadium. Saint Leo earned a 7-4 halftime lead over Alabama-Huntsville led by Leslie Ferguson's first stanza hat-trick.
