(March 13, 2018) – After opening up their 2018 campaign with three hard-fought losses in adverse conditions, the Rollins men's lacrosse team returned to Winter Park to finally take to their home field 39 days into their season.  The Tars made their long-awaited home opener count in a big way, taking down the fourth-ranked Colorado Mesa University Mavericks by a final score of 12-9 on Tuesday afternoon at Cahall-Sandspur Field. Rollins Men Unable to Weather the Storm in 16-4 Loss to Lake Erie

  via Rollins press release    PAINESVILLE, Ohio (March 10, 2018) – After a 20 day hiatus from official competition, the Rollins men's lacrosse team was unable to overcome Lake Erie College, falling to the Storm by a score of 16-4 on Saturday afternoon at Jack Britt Stadium. The loss drops the Tars to a mark of 0-3 on the season, while the Storm, who checked in at No. 20 on the NIKE/US Lacrosse Division II Men's Top 20 this week, advance their record to 1-1 on their young season. (February 18, 2018) – Taking to the field 15 days after their season opener back on February 3, the Rollins men's lacrosse team found themselves unable to push past a stalwart Wheeling Jesuit squad, falling to the Cardinals by a final score of 10-6 on Sunday afternoon at Bishop Schmitt Field. The loss drops the Tars to a record of 0-2 on the season, while Wheeling Jesuit kicks off their 2018 season with a record of 1-0. (February 3, 2018) – Opening up their 2018 season on the road against No. 9/10 Belmont Abbey, the Rollins men's lacrosse team made a statement as they fought with the Crusaders through four quarters and almost two full overtime periods. Rollins trailed 5-2 at the half, but battled back to tie the score at 7-7 in the fourth quarter to send the game to overtime.  After a hard-fought battle, the Tars found themselves edged out by Belmont Abbey with 1:05 remaining in the second overtime period by a final score of 8-7 on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Field.   via UT press release   TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's lacrosse team is set to travel to Rollins College Sunday, November 5 for their second fall ball event. The team will compete in an event honoring John Michael Night, against the Mercer University Bears at 12:00 pm at the Rollins College Stadium Field. Proceeds of the night will benefit John Michael Night and the Core Foundation.     John Michael Night was heavily recruited by UT before committing to Mercer University on an academic and athletic scholarship. Before Christmas 2015 he was struck by a rare devastating brain-stem stroke, leaving him in what is medically referred to as Locked-in Syndrome (LIS).
