PBA Men: Coach Tempone Announces 2019 Men’s Lacrosse Schedule

  via PBA press release   WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic men's lacrosse head coach Stephen Tempone has released the upcoming schedule for the Sailfish. PBA will compete for just the second year as a varsity program in 2019. The 'Fish will play 16 times from February through April with seven of those contests coming at the PBA Soccer/Lacrosse Field at the Rinker Athletic Campus. The Sailfish will begin the season up the coast in Daytona Beach on Feb. 8 and 10 where they'll take on Young Harris and Notre Dame de Namur. It will be the first meeting for the Sailfish against both programs. PBA will return home to take on New York Tech on Valentine's Day in the home opener. (April 21, 2018) – Closing out their 2018 regular season schedule with a road game against Palm Beach Atlantic, the Rollins men's lacrosse team earned a 13-4 win over the Sailfish at PBA Lacrosse Field on Saturday night.  The win closes out the Tars' regular season with an overall record of 7-6, and a Sunshine State Conference mark of 4-3.  Palm Beach Atlantic wraps up their inaugural season with a record of 4-12 overall, and 1-6 in SSC play. Saturday night the turnaround continued as the Panthers beat Palm Beach Atlantic 12-8, in a Sunshine State Conference game. FIT has now won four straight conference games, beating Tampa, Rollins, and Lynn prior to Saturday’s victory. The Sailfish fell behind 8-0 in the first quarter and trailed 14-1 at halftime. PBA scored two goals in each of the third and fourth quarters with Jackson Miller and Anthony Cresto each scoring a goal in both quarters. Brendan Fischer added his 10th goal of the season in the first half.   via FSC press release   LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College men's lacrosse got out to an early 3-0 lead in the first three minutes of play as it defeated Palm Beach Atlantic, 12-7, on Saturday afternoon at Moccasin Field. The Moccasins (5-3, 1-0 SSC) and the Sailfish (4-7, 1-1) took to the field together for the first time ever as PBA is in its first season of men's lacrosse. Lucas Claude scored five of the Moccasin's 12 goals including the eventual game-winning goal with 9:18 left in the third quarter. Mike Greco had another amazing game as he made 13 saves on 20 shots on goal.
