DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Florida Tech cruised to its second SSC win in a row Wednesday night as the Panthers shut out the Eagles in the first half and rode the momentum to a 12-5 result at the ERAU Lacrosse Field.
"Picking up a road win in conference is always big," said head coach Mark Penn. "Right now the standings are tight and we are just focused on winning one game at a time in hopes that we make the tournament."
Justin Williams paced eight Panther goal scorers with a hat trick. Reid Chaconasrecorded two goals and an assist while Brad Schillinger tallied two goals.

The Florida Tech men’s lacrosse team snapped a two-game losing streak on Saturday with a 15-10 win over Palm Beach Atlantic at the Olin Complex in Melbourne.
Reid Chaconas led the Panthers offense with five goals, Brad Schillinger had four and Brett Pohlmeyer had a hat-trick. Matt Weinstein had a goal and an assist and Justin Williams had two assists. Sam Sidari and Luke Palmisano added single tallies for the Panthers.
Daniel Flock made 10 saves for the Panthers, while Marcus Lantier made 20 saves for the Sailfish. Lantier came into the game playing only 61 minutes in goal, before playing the entire game on Saturday.

Hot Streak! Men’s Lacrosse Pounces Panthers
BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn University's men's lacrosse team kept its hot play going on Wednesday night, picking up a pivotal Sunshine State Conference victory over Florida Tech. The Fighting Knights put up 10 goals in the first half and never looked back, securing a 17-9 triumph.

Logan Sweeney records 100th point, sets two school records in Tech's 24-6 victory over Nichols
MELBOURNE, Fla. – It was a record-breaking day for the Florida Tech men's lacrosse team as the Panthers earned a dominant 24-6 victory over Nichols College on Tuesday at Panther Field.
The 24 goals scored by the Panthers is a new school-record and surpasses the previous mark of 22 goals set against Notre Dame de Namur in 2017. Tech notched several other single-game records in the win, including most assists (16), points (40), shots (66), ground balls (66), and face-off wins (27). The team's 16 caused turnovers just missed a record and currently ranks second all-time.
