  via FSC press release   BOX SCORE   Moccasins Improve to 2-0 in SSC Play with Victory at Palm Beach Atlantic   WEST PALM BEACH, FL - Florida Southern College men's lacrosse jumped out to an 8-0 lead en route to an 18-10 victory at Palm Beach Atlantic on Saturday afternoon. The Mocs (7-4, 2-0 SSC) shut out the Sailfish (6-6, 1-2 SSC) in the first quarter to grow the lead. Sean Nolan led the Mocs offense with five goals, while Joe Appio has four goals and six assists. Nick Gutmann, Kyle Silverstein, and Zach Wilson all added a pair of goals with an additional four recording a goal in the victory.   via FSC press release   BOX SCORE LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College men's lacrosse cruised to an 18-6 victory over Colorado Mesa. The Mocs (6-4, 1-0 SSC) rallied off six straight goals over first two quarters to take take a 6-2 lead at the half over the Mavericks (3-5). Sean Nolan and Kyle Silverstein led the offense with three goals each. Four Mocs found the back of the net twice, while an additional four recorded a goal in the victory.   HOW IT HAPPENED Colorado Mesa pulled out to a 1-0 lead at the 10:01 mark of the first quarter. Less than two minutes later Silverstein tied the game up at 1-1.   via FSC press release   BOX SCORE LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College men's lacrosse saw its three-game winning streak come to an end with a 14-9 loss to No. 8 Belmont Abbey at Moccasin Field on Friday afternoon. The Mocs (5-4, 1-0 SSC) were unable to get the ball past the Abbey (9-1) goalie made 17 saves on 26 shots on goal. Jeff Atlas led the offense with three goals, while six additional Mocs recorded a goal in the victory. HOW IT HAPPENED Florida Southern and Belmont Abbey traded a pair of goals each to open the game. Kyle Silverstein gave the Mocs a 1-0 lead at the 13:37 mark of the first quarter.   via FSC press release   BOX SCORE LAKELAND, FL- Florida Southern College men's lacrosse picked up a non-conference victory over CSU-Pueblo on Tuesday evening at Moccasin Field. Senior Joe Appio scored five goals for the Mocs (5-3, 1-0 SSC) in an 18-6 victory over the Thunderwolves (3-2). Appio led the offense with five goals, Sean Nolan had three goals while Kyle Silverstein and Lucas Sommers recorded a pair of goals each. Six additional Mocs recorded scores in the victory.   HOW IT HAPPENED Florida Southern opened the game on a 5-0 run.   Here's the results of yesterday's Florida college action:   Florida Gators Women March 13th - Gators Fight Until Very End, But Fall to No. 4 Syracuse Excerpt: GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 16 Florida Gators gave No. 4 Syracuse an incredibly tight battle on Wednesday night, but ultimately fell to the Orange 14-13 in the final eight seconds of the game at Donald R. Dizney Stadium.
