Panthers Pounce on Eagles on the Road

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Florida Tech cruised to its second SSC win in a row Wednesday night as the Panthers shut out the Eagles in the first half and rode the momentum to a 12-5 result at the ERAU Lacrosse Field.
"Picking up a road win in conference is always big," said head coach Mark Penn. "Right now the standings are tight and we are just focused on winning one game at a time in hopes that we make the tournament."
Justin Williams paced eight Panther goal scorers with a hat trick. Reid Chaconasrecorded two goals and an assist while Brad Schillinger tallied two goals.

Strong Second Half Defense Guides Men’s Lacrosse to Fifth Straight Victory
BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn University's men's lacrosse team outscored visiting Embry-Riddle 7-0 in the second half on Saturday as the Fighting Knights pulled away for a 13-5 Sunshine State Conference win. The Blue and White have now rattled off five consecutive victories.

#14 Lions Runaway in Third Quarter at Embry-Riddle
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The No. 14 Saint Leo Lions' third-quarter rally ran away from the Embry-Riddle Eagles, 17-7. The Sunshine State Conference victory raised the Green and Gold's overall record to 7-3, 2-0 in the SSC.
The Sunshine State Conference matchup allotted only one goal per team after the first quarter of play. "Thomas Tatarian was excellent and saved us from a slow start," commented head coach Brad Jorgensen. With a tight 4-3 lead at the half, the Saint Leo offense put on the jets to opened the third quarter with seven-straight goals. The Lions edged the Eagles 4-1 in the fourth to bring home the conference win.

TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa Spartans kicked off SSC competition by defeating the Embry-Riddle Eagles by a final score of 25-8. The University of Tampa is now 6-4 on the 2019 season.

Men's Lacrosse Holds Off Embry-Riddle For SSC Win
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic men's lacrossed picked up their second straight win on Saturday, defeating Embry-Riddle 13-12 in the SSC opener for both teams.
PBA trailed 11-8 after the Eagles scored less than a minute into the fourth quarter but that's when the Sailfish mounted their comeback. Austin Figas scored twice within 54 seconds before Townsend Brown added his second goal of the game to even the score with 10 minutes to play.
Trent Parker scored for the second time off a feed from Brown to put PBA ahead 12-11, but it wasn't until Brown capped off his hat-trick with 5:01 to play that the 'Fish scored the eventual game-winner. The Eagles added a man-up go
