via press release - photo via FSC web site   GRAND LAKE, CO - Florida Southern College women's lacrosse had three players selected to play in the annual IWLCA North-South All-Star Game, the IWLCA announced on Friday. Seniors Austin Brown, Taylor Gillis and Kendall Kerge will all play for the South squad, coached by Florida Southern head coach Kara Reber. The game will be held at Tierny Field at the US Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, MD at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 3. The three all-star selections for Florida Southern are the most in program history. The Moccasins have now sent a total of 12 all-stars to the annual event. via press release - picture via FSC web site   BLOOMSBURG, PA - Late heroics at both the offensive and defensive end gave Florida Southern College women's lacrosse a thrilling 13-12 win over No. 3 Lindenwood on Friday at Steph Pettit Stadium, and secured the Moccasins a spot in their second-straight NCAA Division II title game. The Moccasins (21-2) jumped out to a quick lead, but the Lions (21-2) would battle back to keep the game close throughout.   Watched the last half of the FSC-Lindenwood Division II Final and the Lady Mocs hold off multiple Lindenwood rallies to edge out the 13-12 win and head on to the finals against #1 Adelphi!  Shannon Gilfedder found Meghan O'Brien wide open on the left crease for the quick stick goal with 54 seconds left and Taylor Gillis with the inside save in the last seconds to hold off Lindenwood, and frankly the breaks too. The NCAA D2 championship game will be played Sunday at 2:00pm, with live coverage on the NCAA web site. Full game coverage when we get it from the Mocs!

After three days of practice, community engagement, and other team activities, the Moccasins will begin their national title defense when they face No. 3 Lindenwood at 3 p.m. on Friday at Steph Pettit Stadium on the campus of Bloomsburg University. The Mocs are in search of the Florida Southern's 30th national title overall, and its second-straight NCAA Division II Women's Lacrosse championship.
