via press release - photo via FSC web site   HUNT VALLEY, MD - Florida Southern College women's lacrosse midfielder Emily Santoli was named as the IWLCA Division II Midfielder of the Year for the second-straight time, the IWLCA announced on Saturday evening at its annual all-American banquet. Santoli, who was also named as a first team all-American by the IWLCA this year, finished with 44 goals, 21 assists and 65 total points as a junior as the Moccasins advanced to the NCAA Division II championship game for the second-straight year. Tara Shecter and Caitlyn Wurzburger each scored twice for South Florida. San Diego had five different goal scorers. (Women's Lacrosse) – On Friday, the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced that Florida Tech's Allie Modica was one of the 44 student-athletes to be named to the roster for the 2017 Division II North-South Senior All-Star Game. Modica is the first player in Florida Tech history to be invited to play in the All-Star Game. The Vero Beach, Florida product was named an IWLCA First Team All-American recently, becoming the first student-athlete in program history to receive first team honors. via press release - photo via FSC web site   GRAND LAKE, CO - Florida Southern College women's lacrosse had three players selected to play in the annual IWLCA North-South All-Star Game, the IWLCA announced on Friday. Seniors Austin Brown, Taylor Gillis and Kendall Kerge will all play for the South squad, coached by Florida Southern head coach Kara Reber. The game will be held at Tierny Field at the US Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, MD at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 3. The three all-star selections for Florida Southern are the most in program history. The Moccasins have now sent a total of 12 all-stars to the annual event.
