Just got home from the Benjamin 10-4 win over a game Barron Collier squad playing without star attackman Connor McGraw.
Full game recap tomorrow.
Down in Ft. Lauderdale it looks like STA has pulled awy from Gulliver in the third quarter and now leads 8-2, so it looks like we get the rematch from last year's incredible semifinal.
Up in Orlando it was an easy win for LHP over Berkeley Prep 20-4.
Seth Austin was on hand and will write up hopefully before he gets on a plane tomorrow.
Also in that area it was Lake Mary holding on for the 9-8 win over visiting Bolles, setting up the rematch of the 2015 semifinals game with LHP.
Not too much surprise here . . .
On the Girls side we have two upsets in...
FLN site buddy Wells Dusenbury and I attended the so rare meeting of two late season undefeated teams on Wednesday as the 15-0 Barron Collier Girl's team traveled across Alligator Alley for the matchup with 12-0 American Heritage/Delray. What a year this was for the sport in the state of Florida this year . . .
I can't summarize it so easily in a year-end review so I went with this format for 2016.
Hope you enjoy it!
And all complaints can be sent to Brian . . .
If I missed something you think should be included just submit the comment below . . .
I could have gone further.
Of course I'll need some introductory theme music for this . . .
So, without further ado . . .

SPARKS, Md. – When one of the top draw specialists in the game set the all-time NCAA Division I career draw record as a senior at Northwestern in 2014, she made it look easy. But Alyssa Leonard, now a USC assistant, Team USA standout and member of the first-ever professional women's championship team, the Long Island Sound, didn't specialize in the craft until she stepped foot in Evanston, Ill.
"I just threw the ball up in the air for the most part when I was in high school," said Leonard. "I couldn't have told you what the techniques were called or the difference between pushing and pulling. I couldn't really tell you specifics until I got to college and really learned it and worked on it."
But she predicts a new
