The reigning ASUN Conference champions earned an automatic bid to the Big Dance this past Sunday, and drew Southern California in the opening round later that evening. The matchup, which will see JU and USC compete for the first time ever, will be held at the Donald R. Dizney Stadium Friday at 4 p.m. on the campus of Florida. The Dolphins earned their fourth ASUN Conference title earlier in the day with an 11-10 victory over the top-seeded Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. via press release - photo via FSC web site   INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Florida Southern College women's lacrosse, fresh off its second-straight Sunshine State Conference Tournament title, earned the No. 2 seed in the South Region of the 2017 NCAA Division II Women's Lacrosse Tournament, the NCAA announced on Sunday. The Moccasins will host the winner of the matchup between No. 3 East Stroudsburg and No. 6 Florida Tech. The Warriors and Panthers will play at 3 p.m. on Friday at Bryant Stadium, and the winner will take on the Mocs at 3 p.m. on Saturday for a spot in the Final Four. (Women's Lacrosse) – The Florida Tech women's lacrosse team will be dancing into the NCAA Division II Women's Lacrosse Tournament for the first time in program history, announced by the NCAA selection show on Sunday evening. The Panthers, who boast a record of 13-3 this season, will be making their first ever appearance as the No. 6 seed in the NCAA South Region. Milne Field to crown its fourth ASUN Conference Tournament title and earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
