Barber, a product of Syracuse University, played each of his two MLL seasons with the Denver Outlaws. In eight games for the Outlaws this season, Barber recorded eight goals and two assists. The middie brings championship experience to the Launch as he was a member of Denver’s 2016 Steinfeld Trophy winning squad. via MLL press releases Offensive Player of the Week BOSTON (June 26, 2017) – Ohio Machine attackman Marcus Holman was named the Warrior Offensive Player of the Week for Week 10. The Machine defeated the Cannons on Thursday night in overtime and followed that with a 15-13 win over Chesapeake on Saturday. Holman, 26, scored the game-winning goal against Boston on Thursday night, his fifth goal of the evening and he also had two assists in the game. Two nights later, his hat trick helped the Machine beat the Bayhawks. Holman’s 10-point weekend moved him into a tie with Charlotte’s John Haus for the most points in the league this season (36) and his 26 goals are second only to Ryan Brown’s 27. First, here's the Launch recap via press release: The Florida Launch’s three-game winning streak ended Saturday night after an 18-14 road loss to the Charlotte Hounds. Despite an early Launch lead, Florida’s offense struggled to overcome a commanding Charlotte lead in the second half. Striking early with five unanswered goals in the first quarter, the Launch slipped into a deficit before halftime. Though Dylan Molloy (3G, 1A), Chazz Woodson (3G) and Kieran McArdle (4G) tallied hat tricks in their late game rally, their offensive fire power was not enough to break through a stout Charlotte defense, who kept the Launch to five goals in the second half.
