via press release from MLL   MLL release their Week 2 accolades: "Coca-Cola Players of the Game", "Warrior Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week" and "FOAthlete of the Week, Presented by The Faceoff Academy"   BOSTON (April 21st, 2015) - Major League Lacrosse, the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league completed Week 2 of its 2015 season on Sunday April 19th. There were three games played on Sunday afternoon between six of the league's eight teams. The Denver Outlaws played their second away game of the season against the Ohio Machine and this time they came away with an exciting last second win of 14-13. Launch Fall To Chesapeake In MLL Opener 12-8

thanks to Megan Danner of the Launch for this game recap   A solid performance by the Florida Launch in the team’s first game action of the season ended in an upsetting loss to the Chesapeake Bayhawks with a final score of 12-8. The Launch and Bayhawks spent the majority of the first quarter feeling one another out on both ends of the field. With the score 1-1 at the end of the first quarter, the scoring chances picked up in the second resulting in a 5-4 Bayhawks lead heading into intermission. Jon Hayes, Roman Lao-Gosney, Casey Powell and Kieran McArdle recorded the four scores in the half for the Launch.
