Launch Winning Streak Ends at 3 With 18-14 Loss in Charlotte

@Florida_Launch, MLL News
  First, here's the Launch recap via press release: The Florida Launch’s three-game winning streak ended Saturday night after an 18-14 road loss to the Charlotte Hounds. Despite an early Launch lead, Florida’s offense struggled to overcome a commanding Charlotte lead in the second half. Striking early with five unanswered goals in the first quarter, the Launch slipped into a deficit before halftime. Though Dylan Molloy (3G, 1A), Chazz Woodson (3G) and Kieran McArdle (4G) tallied hat tricks in their late game rally, their offensive fire power was not enough to break through a stout Charlotte defense, who kept the Launch to five goals in the second half.   Despite facing a persistent Hounds offensive presence, goalie Austin Kaut stopped 14 out of 28 shots on goal

The talk then tu

via Launch web site - photos via MLL   Author's Note:  Again, another grind it out victory, coming again from behind, for the surging Launch.  The game was a tale of two halves for the team defensively, as they struggled in the first half with communication and execution, only to turn it on in the second half.  One on one battles were won all game on the defense but the adjustments in the second led to few open looks inside in the second and Austin Kaut saw the ball better in the second.  The defensive midfield of Mike Unterstein, Mark McNeill and Tim Edwards shut down Atlanta and as the game went on the easy goals off transition that Atlanta buried in the first half also were stopped.   Offensively the team consistently found transition opportunities, sometimes as much as 6-3
