The Florida Launch have their eyes set on a franchise-record third sweep this season after taking the first of two regular season games against the Chesapeake Bayhawks. After beating the Bayhawks at home last Saturday, the Launch are traveling up to Maryland to close out their season series against Chesapeake. Remember Launch fans that there are TWO games this week. On Thursday the Launch travel to Annapolis for a rematch of last Saturday's barnburner, with faceoff set for 7:30pm. Not sure if the game will be shown live on LSN. When more than one game is available usually there will be a selection option on the LSN home page. Then on Saturday there will be a quick turnaround as Charlotte comes to town for a 7:00pm start in the last home game. The Launch will be looking for revenge for an earlier season loss up north in what should be a must-win game for the playoffs.

Molloy scored the game-winning goal to put the Launch ahead of the Bayhawks with just under two minutes to go in the fourth quarter in a 20-19 win on Saturday. Molloy recorded four points (3 goals, 1 assist), including a hat trick, in his fifth game with the Launch this season. The hat trick tied Molloy’s career high in goals for the third time. Molloy scored both the first and last goals of the game to help the Launch hang onto the win. via MLL press release Warrior Defensive Player of the Week BOSTON (July 17, 2017) – Rochester Rattlers defenseman Joel White was named the Warrior Defensive Player of the Week for Week 12. White helped the Rattlers to a 21-9 win over the Cannons at home on Sunday. White, 28, had a season-high six groundballs in Rochester’s first win since June 10. In his five games played with the Rattlers this season, White has two goals and 18 ground balls. White, along with the Rattlers defense, limited the Cannons to only nine goals including four in the first three quarters. As a team Rochester picked up 59 ground balls in comparison to Boston’s 40.
