Seniors Adrian Franzone and Jonathan Spevacek signed National Letters of Intent today. Both players are four year starters for Spanish River and were major contributors to the success of the program. Adrian Franzone departs Spanish River as its All Time leading scorer 302 points and named All American for the 2014 season. Jonathan Spevacek leaves Spanish River as a two time All Region player who with his 6’4 frame was a nightmare for defenders and offensive players alike. Jonathan was a highly successful FOGO and Midfielder who for the past four years impacted every game he played in. Adrian would like to thank First and foremost, My Family who encouraged me to follow my passion. My High School Head Coach Brian Johnson who taught me that dedication and Hard Work pays off and for making me a complete player. My High School Athletic Director, Coach Kevin McEnroe, who showed me that you can play sports and be smart. Coach Kevin Finneran, who taught me to love Lacrosse. Coach Shawn Riegner who tirelessly worked with me to develop my offensive skills and Coach Chuck Miller who made me a two way player. I had the privilege of playing on the Club Teams, Coached by Shane Rye, with Storm Lacrosse and Andrew Bolger with Florida Elite.  Adrian chose Georgia Tech because it has the best of education and lacrosse. Georgia Tech has one of best Engineering schools in the country, which is his Major, along with a Coaching staff which is committed to having a winning program. I have been blessed to have a wonderful family, along with teachers, friends and Coaches who cared about my success, for that I am grateful. Jonathan would like to thank his parents Jeff and Isa for all of their support and dedication in helping him fulfill a dream of playing college lacrosse. His Head Coach Brian Johnson for believing in him and working with him every day to prepare him for the next level. Coaches Riegner, Miller, and Dickinson for teaching him several aspects of the game. Jonathan chose Wingate due to the high caliber of academics and excellent lacrosse tradition. He looks forward to playing for Head Coach Michael Lawson who runs a highly successful program and providing him with this opportunity.
