Both teams were scoreless until 5:18 in the first quarter when senior Jason Randolph hit the back of the net for the first goal. That was followed by a goal from Cody Legeza to close out the first quarter. Sharks goalie Colin Peaks and Raiders goalie Lucas Altman came up with big saves in the first half. Eric Applegate, RJ Garcia and Garrett Boyle added goals in the 2nd half for the Sharks but Gulliver Prep was able to close the gap to 5-2 at intermission. Junior Miles Silva owned the third quarter for PV with four consecutive goals. Raiders middie Ryan Cordero was credited with a hat trick but Ponte Vedra was able to add three more unanswered goals in the 4th to secure the 12-4 win. The 8-1 Sharks head down to Jupiter Thursday night for their biggest test of the season.
