After the forced layoff of more than a week, the Sharks traveled to Tallahassee Saturday to face the Maclay Marauders under the lights. Maclay took an early lead on the opening faceoff with a goal by Stephen Chase. The Sharks answered quickly thanks to Logan Taucher. Not content with one goal, Taucher went on to score two more goals and pace the Sharks to a 4-2 halftime lead. The Sharks stretched that lead to 8-4 at the end of three quarters thanks to two goals from R.J Garcia and one apiece from Garrett Boyle and Evan Weiner. The Marauders crept back in the 4th quarter to get within a two goal striking distance, but the Sharks responded with 3 unanswered goals in the closing minutes to seal an 11-6 win. Colin Peaks was credited with 9 saves in goal. Andrew Killinger led the Marauders with 2 goals. The Sharks travel to Bartram Trail on Monday and, weather-permitting, host Bolles on Thursday. Logan Taucher (3G), R.J Garcia (2G), Garrett Boyle (2G), Evan Weiner (2G), Eric Applegate (1G), Augie Relihan (1G) Colin Peaks (9 Saves)
