Julia is a standout Attack-Wing and Draw Center for the Lady Canes, she scored 112 points last season with 90 goals & 22 assists leading the Lady Canes to a 12-4 season in 2012 and their 3rd District Championship in a row. Julia has been named to numerous ESPN Watch Lists over the last few seasons including the ESPN National Leaders for goals scored last season with 11 goals in a single game. She has also been honored as team MVP and Midfield Player of the Year in 2012. Julia was named to the All District 1st Team for 2011 & 2012 and All Region 1st Team as well as Third Team All League for 2012. In 2012 Julia was named a US Lacrosse Academic All American. Julia was very heavily recruited by numerous national programs, but was most impressed with Hatters Head Coach Nicole Moore and the academic opportunities available to her at Stetson. 2013 is Stetson’s inaugural season. QUOTES: We are beyond proud of Julia for her athletic and academic achievements. She has put in the hard work and dedication necessary to earn this prestigious athletic scholarship from Stetson University. She had a lot of colleges interested in her, but after meeting Head Coach Nicole Moore, the decision was easy. Coach Moore will carry on the values that we have instilled in Julia, while bringing Julia’s lacrosse game to the competitive Division 1 Collegiate skill level that she knows Julia is capable of. We are most proud of the wonderful young lady Julia has grown up to be. We would like to thank the entire staff at Coral Shores High School, and especially Head Coach Mark Hall, and Coaches Cindy Hall, and John Jarnagin. It has been a great three seasons and this season will be no different! We would like to also thank all of Julia’s club coaches at BDM for her off season training. -John and Catherine Lozano, Parents Julia is a gifted athlete. She will make her mark as a college level player. -John Jarnagin, CSHS Coach I can not understate what a major contribution Julia has made to the Coral Shores girls lacrosse team, she is a phenomenal athlete and clearly understands the game of lacrosse better than most, she always knows where to be on the field and can make the big plays when they are needed! Her leadership and mentoring will be surely missed, Julia has helped many of our players to become better. I know that Julia will represent Coral Shores very well during her time at Stetson, we are all very proud of her! -Mark Hall, CSHS Head Coach I have always been impressed with Julia’s positive attitude and how hard she has worked to become one of the best players in Florida, I know that these qualities will serve her well at Stetson! -Cindy Hall, CSHS Coach This opportunity with Stetson is a testament of how hard Julia has worked as a student and as an athlete, Coral Shores is very proud of her accomplishments! -Richard Russell, CSHS Athletic Director Pictured above with Julia at her signing ceremony;  L-R Standing: Rich Russell, AD; John Jarnagin, Assist Coach; Cindy Hall, Assist Coach; Mark Hall, Head Coach; Dave Murphy, CSHS Principal. L-R Seated: Catharine Lozano, Mom; Julia Lozano
